COVID-19 PTO Program

The company Intranet has now been updated for “CV-PTO” (thank you Ashley).  You can access it in all the ways you access regular PTO:

  • OOO Request: there is now an option for CV-PTO
  • For those who use TimeTracker, it is an option for categorizing your time in TimeTracker.  You’ll find it in the “Daily” category
  • On your PTO page, in your profile section, you will see new columns for tracking CV-PTO
  • Managers will receive email notifications for reviewing and approving CV-PTO requests

While functional access in the Intranet is the same as PTO, we anticipate that the way folks will trigger CV-PTO will be more spontaneous and less planned than regular PTO.  In other words, CV-PTO may be something that occurs on more of an ad-hoc basis, or as an after-the-fact entry.  That’s OK.  If you do know in advance that you need CV-PTO (e.g., I need to run down to the Tacoma Dome to get a COVID-19 test), by all means let your manager know in advance.  That will help them plan work load and manage expectations.  If you need to be more spontaneous, that’s fine.

Please use this as you need it and see fit; that’s what it’s there for.
